Brown the ground beef in a 3-quart saucepan. Drain off fat.
Add onion, shredded carrots, parsley flakes, basil, and garlic. Saute until tender.
Add butter. After melted, sprinkle flour over meat and mix thoroughly. Stir for a minute or two.
Slowly add the broth and stir until smooth. Add potatoes, Worcestershire sauce, and milk and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 10-12 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Stir in the cheese, salt, and pepper. Cook and stir until cheese melts. Remove from heat and blend in sour cream.
Serving
Can be served garnished with chopped pickles, chopped crispy bacon, shredded cheese, croutons or anything you like on your burger. :)
Note: If thickens too much, add more broth to get the right consistency.
